Join a select group of Philadelphia leaders in the construction, corporate, and real estate industry for breakfast and an exclusive CEO roundtable discussion. Hear from these titans on their perspective of the changing and growing business and development landscape in the region, covering topics such as technology, effective use of space, Philadelphia’s innovation and entrepreneurial climate,  new regulation and changes in State and City leadership. Joining us will be:

Emily Bittenbender is Managing Partner of Bittenbender Construction, a women-owned general contracting company founded by Emily in 2003, and is the newly appointed Chair of the General Building Contractors Association (GBCA) Philadelphia Chapter. Emily previously served as the City of Philadelphia’s first Capital Program Director and was Vice President of Design and Construction for the National Constitution Center.

Karen Buchholz is Senior Vice President of Administration for Comcast Corporation who leads a variety of corporate functions, including corporate real estate, facilities, aviation, diversity, political affairs, corporate services, travel and security. Karen is the executive in charge of development of Comcast’s new Innovation and Technology Center, and previously oversaw the development of Comcast’s Corporate Headquarters.

John Gattuso is senior vice president and regional director of Liberty Property Trust’s Urban and National Development team. John is also responsible for Liberty’s downtown Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and Herndon Virginia offices. John was previously Director of Waterfront Development for the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC).

The panel will be moderated by Past President and CREW Philadelphia member Tina R. Makoulian, a partner with Ballard Spahr. Tina is the Practice Leader of Ballard Spahr’s Real Estate Development and Complex Transactions Group, where she concentrates on complex real estate development, acquisition and disposition of commercial properties, commercial leasing, and zoning and land use. Tina also served on CREW Network’s Board of Directors.

Breakfast will be provided. Registration will run from 8- 8:30 a.m. followed by the presentation and discussion from 8:30-9:30.

Reservations requested by 5pm Monday, April 20th.
Reservations after this date will be accepted on a space-available basis. There will be a surcharge of $20 after the registration deadline and onsite for walk-ins the day of the event.
