The Deal

With over twenty years of collaboration on a variety of Wells Fargo Center renovation and addition projects, Dustin Almon, interior designer at Heckendorn Shiles Architects, along with the Wick Fisher White engineering team, transformed the Executive Penthouse level of the Wells Fargo Center to honor Ed Snider, the late sport’s legend and Chairman of Comcast Spectacor.

Interior design and decorative elements were purposely and thoughtfully selected to commemorate Ed Snider’s career and honor his sophisticated taste for design and fashion. The space offers a masculine and tailored aesthetic with the juxtaposition of warm and cool colors, natural materials of stone and cherry veneer, softness of lush broadloom carpet and fabric wall cladding. The building systems seamless integrated into the overall aesthetic- from thoughtful consideration of daylight, light fixtures, and cooling. Large expanses of new glass storefronts maximize city views. Hallways and open offices areas are adorned with mementos and photographs that depict iconic moments of Ed’s tenure in Philadelphia- both as philanthropist and sports legend.

The corner office once occupied by Ed Snider for over a decade was converted into an executive conference room. With style in mind, the room offers excellent views of the city skyline and boasts state of art the audio-visual technology, lighting controls, and acoustics. Room signage, photography and artwork pays tribute Ed Snider.
